Jacob Misiorowski has only pitched in five games in MLB with the Milwaukee Brewers and that is the fewest for any player to be called up to the All-Star Game in all of Major League Baseball.

For Dave Roberts, “The All-Star Game is about the fans. Yes, this kid (Jacob Misiorowski) hasn’t pitched much in the Major Leagues, but I think this generates more excitement, to see the velocity.”
“People want to see Miz pitch. He’s the new shiny toy in the league. He doesn’t deserve it, that has nothing to do with it. He’s been given this opportunity. It’s not his fault. This wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision. It’s something they thought about. I think it would be really hard for the kid to say no to that,” said Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy.
Philadelphia Phillies criticism
Philadelphia Phillies baseball players such as Trea Turner criticized the call-up of Jacob Misiorowski to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, saying: “It’s not the All-Star Game that the best players go to. It’s who sells the most tickets or has been put on social media the most times. That’s essentially what it’s become.”
