Der FC Liverpool jagt Alexander Isak!
Die „Reds“ arbeiten nach Florian Wirtz (22) schon am nächsten Rekord-Transfer. Für den Mittelstürmer von Newcastle ist der amtierende englische Meister bereit, erneut ganz tief in die Tasche zu greifen.
[–>Wie „The Athletic“ berichtet, hat Liverpool bei den „Magpies“ sein Interesse an Isak hinterlegt. Das Problem: Newcastle will den Schweden, der einst glücklos für den BVB agierte, unter keinen Umständen ziehen lassen und erklärte ihn sogar für unverkäuflich.
Deshalb plant Liverpool wohl ein Rekordangebot, um ihren Premier-League-Konkurrenten umzustimmen. Rund 120 Millionen Pfund (ca. 138 Millionen Euro) wären sie wohl bereit für den Offensivmann zu zahlen.
Eine astronomische Zahl, womit sie ihren erst kürzlich aufgestellten Transfer-Rekord schon wieder brechen würden. Für Wirtz überwiesen sie rund 140 Millionen Euro Ablöse an Bayer Leverkusen. Es ist der größte Transfer der deutschen und englischen Fußball-Geschichte. Bis jetzt?

Bereits vergangene Woche ging aus Berichten hervor, dass die „Reds“ die Verpflichtung von Isak als Priorität ansehen, da Darwin Núñez (26) die hohen Erwartungen in seinen drei Jahren an der Anfield Road nicht erfüllen konnte. Ein vorzeitiger Abschied ist wahrscheinlich.
Auch um Federico Chiesa (27), der im ersten Testspiel gegen Preston North End (3:1) im Sturmzentrum spielte, ranken sich Wechselgerüchte. Unter Arne Slot konnte er sich vergangene Saison nicht durchsetzen, stand ein einziges Mal in der Premier League in der Startelf.
Falls Isak nicht kommt: Vorstoß bei Frankfurt-Star Ekitiké?
Dass Liverpool so heiß auf Isak ist, ist nicht überraschend. Seit seinem Wechsel von Real Sociedad zu den „Magpies“ im Sommer 2022 (für rund 70 Mio. Euro) hat Isak voll eingeschlagen: In 109 Spielen erzielte der 25-Jährige 62 Tore und bereitete 11 weitere vor.
Interessant: Sollte Newcastle bei Isak (Vertrag bis 2028) nicht einlenken, wollen die Reds bei Hugo Ekitiké (23) angreifen. Aktuell werben auch die Mapies um den Stürmer-Star von Eintracht Frankfurt. Nach SPORT-BILD-Infos boten sie bereits ein Ablöse-Paket von rund 80 Mio. Euro. Die Eintracht lehnte allerdings entschieden ab.
