Em entrevista coletiva concedida na manhã de hoje (15) no auditório da Arena do Grêmio, o empresário Marcelo Marques trouxe mais detalhes sobre a nova fase da gestão do estádio. Ao lado do presidente gremista Alberto Guerra e de outros dirigentes, o CEO e fundador da Marquespan fez mais esclarecimentos sobre a operação milionária que realizou na última sexta-feira (11).
Emocionado e com a voz embargada, Marcelo Marques fez questão de ressaltar que exerceu o papel de um apaixonado gremista. “Foi um prazer poder ter ajudado. Quem ajudou não foi um milionário, um bilionário, que nem tão falando por aí. Foi um torcedor do Grêmio igual a vocês. Eu sei que, se vocês pudessem, vocês fariam o mesmo que eu”, afirmou. “A Arena é nossa!”, exclamou na sequência, seguido de um palavrão e sendo aplaudido pelos presentes.
Marcelo Marques reforçou opinião contra SAF
Durante a entrevista coletiva, Marcelo Marques confirmou que a Arena do Grêmio será doada pelo pré-candidato à presidência do Imortal. “Vai ser doado 100%, vai passar para o Grêmio”, reforçou, motivando outra salva de palmas. “Não é uma questão empresarial, não tem nada a ver com empresa, com marketing. É uma doação de um gremista, e eu espero que esse gesto toque no coração de todos os gremistas”, disse o empresário do ramo alimentício.
Assim, Marcelo Marques fez um apelo para que os torcedores se associem para apoiar o time atualmente comandado por Mano Menezes. “O Grêmio precisa muito do torcedor. O torcedor não quer que o Grêmio seja vendido, que vire SAF, então o torcedor precisa se associar. Eu sei que a torcida do Grêmio é muito fanática. Eu mesmo conheço umas 10 pessoas que tem potencial para ser sócios mas que por algum motivo ainda não são. O Grêmio vai ser gigante, o Grêmio vai botar pra derreter, mas nós precisamos ter 300 mil sócios”, clamou.
Diante do movimento, o dono da Marquespan convocou os gremistas para lotarem a Arena do Grêmio no confronto contra o Alianza Lima no dia 23 de junho, pelo jogo de volta dos playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana. Será o primeiro jogo do Tricolor no estádio depois da operação financeira coordenada por Marcelo Marques.
O atual presidente gremista celebrou o acordo, afirmando que hoje é um dia histórico para o Tricolor Gaúcho. “O Grêmio vai mudar de patamar, e se vai mudar de patamar é por causa do Marcelo [Marques]”. declarou Alberto Guerra, que complementou: “Fez um gesto muito nobre, que foi resolver essa questão e aportar essa elevada quantia de dinheiro para solucionar o problema”.
Os valores pagos pela Arena do Grêmio
Marcelo Marques adquiriu a gestão da Arena do Grêmio por R$ 50 milhões. Segundo o jornalista Jocimar Farina, de GZH, a quantia será paga em nove parcelas de cerca de R$ 5,5 milhões, sendo a primeira quitada na sexta (11). Além disso, o empresário comprou a dívida junto ao fundo Revee, responsável pela construção do estádio inaugurado em 2012. O dono da Marquespan pagará R$ 80 milhões em seis prestações de R$ 13,33 milhões. O pré-candidato é apontado como o favorito para a eleição prevista em novembro.
