Mais um jogador do Botafogo tem sua renovação de contrato confirmada com o clube. Nesta sexta-feira (18), o time carioca anunciou a extensão do vínculo do volante Gregore, cujo acordo agora vai até o final de 2028.

Detalhes do contrato
A renovação se deu depois de alguma discussão sobre os valores da multa rescisória do atleta. Ficou decidido entre o Glorioso e o estafe do atleta que o valor da multa para interessados vindos do futebol do exterior é de US$ 7 milhões (R$ 40,6 milhões), segundo o GE.
Além do reajuste na multa, Gregore também terá uma considerável valorização salarial. Tal valorização está estimada em 100% do valor atual, algo visto como condizente com o papel que tem feito no elenco botafoguense, sendo titular absoluto do time comandado por Renato Paiva nesta temporada e peça-chave das conquistas da Libertadores e do Brasileirão em 2024.
Cláusula de venda obrigatória
Outra provisão da renovação de Gregore com o Botafogo é a existência de uma cláusula na qual o clube se compromete a negociar o atleta imediatamente com times do exterior. O que só deve acontecer caso a oferta seja de, no mínimo, US$ 8 milhões (R$ 46,8 milhões) se a proposta chegar na janela de transferências do meio do ano. Caso oferta seja feita ao final do ano, o valor da cláusula será reduzido para US$ 6 milhões (R$ 35,1 milhões)
A permanência do volante se dá depois de sondagens de vários clubes. Atlético-MG e Al Rayyan (Catar) chegaram a oferecer propostas a jogador, mas estas foram recusadas pelo desejo deste de seguir no Glorioso para esta temporada.
