Der SC Magdeburg und die Füchse Berlin kämpfen ums Champions-League-Halbfinale. Die Magdeburger treffen auf KC Veszprém, die Berliner müssen gegen Aalborg Handbold ran.

Füchse Berlin – Aalborg Handbold
Auch die Füchse Berlin konnten vor dem Champions-League-Viertelfinale in der Bundesliga gewinnen. Gegen die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf gab es am Ostersonntag ein 37:33.
Füchse-Trainer Jaron Siewert (31) meinte nach dem Spiel: „Wir sind mega happy, hier am Ostersonntag gegen Hannover bestanden zu haben.“
Stefan Kretzschmar (52), Vorstand Sport, erklärte: „Wir gewinnen das Torhüterduell, das ist in solch einem Spitzenspiel sehr wichtig. Milosavljev hat überragend gehalten. Wir haben wieder das gemacht, was uns die gesamte Saison auszeichnet: das Tempo hochgehalten.“
Und: „Auch das in-Game-Coaching von Jaron, Auszeiten zu den richtigen Momenten zu nehmen, neuen Input zu geben, war wichtig. Ich bin stolz auf die Mannschaft.“
Nach dem Erfolg gegen Hannover treffen die Füchse auf Aalborg. Gegen die Dänen will das Team den ersten Schritt in Richtung Champions-League-Halbfinale machen.
