Bei der Pressekonferenz vor dem Mainz-Spiel machte Bayern-Cheftrainer Vincent Kompany (39) eine Andeutung zu Verteidiger Raphaël Guerreiro (31). Der Belgier erklärte – auf die Personalsituation angesprochen – folgendes: „Wir haben vielleicht noch ein bisschen Sorgen mit Rapha. Das ist nichts Ernstes, aber wir müssen mal schauen.“

Nach ersten Untersuchungen soll es einen Verdacht auf einen kleinen Muskelfaserriss geben. Sollte sich das bestätigen, würde das eine Ausfallzeit von mindestens zwei Wochen bedeuten.
Für Coach Kompany wäre das sehr ärgerlich!
Schließlich fallen auf der linken Abwehrseite mit Alphonso Davies (24/Kreuzbandriss) und Hiroki Ito (25/Mittelfußbruch) bereits zwei Stars langfristig aus. Ohne Guerreiro hätten die Bayern keinen gelernten Linksverteidiger mehr im Kader.
Immerhin: In den zurückliegenden Wochen haben die Münchner schon mehrfach bewiesen, dass sie auch ohne etatmäßigen Linksverteidiger solide spielen können. Unter anderem in den beiden Viertelfinal-Spielen der Champions League gegen Inter Mailand (1:2; 2:2) spielte Josip Stanisic (25) und nicht Guerreiro auf der linken Abwehrseite.
Genau so würde Kompany den drohenden Guerreiro-Ausfall wohl auch in den kommenden Wochen auffangen …
