The Baltimore Ravens are catching major heat after their 2025 NFL Draft pick, with fans and critics slamming them as “hypocrites”. The Ravens selected Marshall edge rusher Mike Green, a top prospect with a troubled past-two sexual assault allegations from 2022 in Charlottesville, which he denies and was never charged for.

An X user didn’t hold back, posting, “The hypocrisy of the Ravens organization knows no bounds.” Fans piled on, pointing to the Ravens’ history with controversial players. “Nothing new for the Rat Birds… Murderer, Cocaine trafficker, Deshaun Watson impersonator,” another fan replied, referencing past incidents like Ray Lewis’ 2000 murder charge (dropped) and other team controversies.
Green, ranked No. 12 on Dane Brugler’s top 100 prospects list, impressed at the Senior Bowl, but his off-field issues have haunted his draft stock. “I’ve done nothing wrong,” Green told reporters at the combine, firmly denying the allegations.

The Ravens, coming off a 2024 season with 11 draft picks to bolster their roster, aimed to add depth with Green’s 6-foot-4, 248-pound frame and pass-rushing skills-he had 16.5 sacks in college, per Marshall stats. Yet, the pick’s timing has fans questioning the team’s moral compass. “Love to hate don’t you,” says one tweet, showing some Ravens fans are still ride-or-die despite the uproar. With Tucker’s investigation ongoing and Green’s allegations resurfacing, the Ravens are in the hot seat, and social media’s not letting this one slide.
