La inevitable comparación de Lamine

Lamine Yamal no quiere que le comparen con nadie. Pero su precocidad y calidad hacen inevitables los paralelismos con los dos últimos grandes referentes: Leo Messi y Cristiano Ronaldo. El extremo azulgrana cumplió, el miércoles por la noche en el encuentro de ida de la Champions contra el Inter, su encuentro número 100 con la camiseta del Barcelona con sólo 17 años, una cifra que está muy lejos de la que lucían el argentino o el portugués a tan temprana edad.

En concreto, Leo Messi había disputado 9 partidos como culé en la elite. Y en esos encuentros, había celebrado una diana y no había dado ninguna asistencia, según los datos que recoge TNT Sports. Unas estadísticas que distan de forma tajante con las de Lamine Yamal, que ya ha marcado 22 dianas y ha sumado 33 pases decisivos. Unos números sin precedentes para un futbolista de únicamente 17 años. 

El entrenador del Fútbol Club Barcelona valoró el partido de sus jugadores y el de Lamine Yamal en particular.

En el caso de Cristiano Ronaldo, el luso lucía con la edad del extremo de Mataró 19 partidos. Una cantidad superior a la de Leo Messi, pero muy por debajo de los 100 de Lamine. Había marcado 5 dianas y dado 4 asistencias. 

Centenarios precoces

Si sólo nos fijamos en el Barcelona, Lamine Yamal ha sido el jugador más joven en llegar al centenar de encuentros. Por detrás de él, se sitúa Gavi. El andaluz alcanzó esta cifra tan señalada con 19 años y 29 días. Completa este ranking tan particular Bojan, con unos meses más que el mediocentro de Los Palacios y Villafranca. Jugadores como Fati llegaron a los 100 con 20 y medio, Messi, con 20 y ocho meses y Xavi, con 21.

Títulos

Pero no sólo los 100 partidos de Lamine Yamal son noticia a sus 17 años. También los títulos de club que ha logrado. El extremo tiene en su palmarés una Liga (aunque con participación testimonial con Xavi), una Copa del Rey, una Supercopa y va camino de su segundo título del campeonato regular y de su primera Champions. Y no alcanza la mayoría de edad hasta julio. Además, no hay que olvidar que es campeón de Europa con España.

Los de Flick consiguieron empatar la eliminatoria en dos ocasiones gracias a un Lamine Yamal estelar. San Siro decidirá en un partido que será una auténtica final.

El futbolista catalán fue ayer el nombre propio de la eliminatoria contra el Inter. Pese a sus 17 años, marcó el 1-2, que fue una de las claves del compromiso. Además, firmó la que fue probablemente la mejor primera parte desde que llegó a la máxima categoría.
