After weeks of silence from one of pop culture’s favorite power couples, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have gone viral once again – thanks to a months-old video that just hit social media.
The unexpected clip, taken during the American League Championship Series last October, shows Swift dancing with popcorn and a drink while Kelce grins beside her.
While the moment happened on October 14, 2024, during Game 1 between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians at Yankee Stadium, the video didn’t make its way online until Thursday.
TikTok user Kelsey Cousins, who met Swift at the game, shared the clip to her account, sending Swifties into an emotional spiral.
In the video, Swift is seen dancing enthusiastically while seated beside a clearly amused Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
It’s one of the few public glimpses fans have had of the couple in recent months, as the pair have largely avoided the spotlight since their last known outing in March during a private date night in New York City.
Fans flood social media over long-awaited ‘Taycrumbs’
The video immediately sparked excitement on X (formerly Twitter), with fans eager to dissect and celebrate the candid moment.
One user posted, “Swift and Kelce enjoying the Yankees game celebrity moments we didn’t know we needed!” Another gushed, “She is so cute dancing with her popcorns and drink.”
The reactions didn’t stop there: “Oh I love her ” and “I miss her so much” were also posted on X.
It’s a familiar scene for Swifties: holding on tightly to any small public glimpse of the singer, especially when it involves Kelce.
Though the couple reportedly spends much of their downtime together, they’ve made a concerted effort to keep their relationship away from the cameras in 2024.
Still, there may be hope on the horizon. With the Met Gala just days away on May 6 in New York City, fans are already speculating that Swift may make a surprise appearance – possibly with Kelce on her arm.
The singer has attended the fashion event multiple times in the past, and her presence at this year’s gala could mark a long-awaited return to the red carpet.
Until then, Swifties will cling to every dance, glance, and “taycrumb” that surfaces – and this viral Yankees video has certainly satisfied the appetite for now.
