The 2025 Met Gala, held on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, showcased the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrating Black dandyism and its impact on fashion.

While the event featured numerous celebrity couples, it was NFL stars Russell Wilson and Jalen Hurts, accompanied by their wives, who captured the most attention.

Russell and Ciara: A classic duo

Russell Wilson made his Met Gala debut alongside his wife, singer Ciara. The couple turned heads with their coordinated black-and-white ensembles.

Russell donned a classic black suit with a black coat draped over his shoulders, complemented by a white shirt, crystal brooch, and black sunglasses. Ciara stunned in a black and silver gown by LaQuan Smith, featuring crystal strands draped across her bodice and legs, catching the light with every step.

Her sleek black satin gown flowed behind her in a bold train, and she completed the look with black heels and styled her short blonde hair smoothly.

Jalen and Bry: A maroon marvel

Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts and his wife, Bry, made their Met Gala debut as a married couple.

Jalen wore a black velvet suit adorned with gems across his shoulders and accessorized with a beret, Tiffany & Co. and Breitling pieces.

Bry dazzled in a rich maroon gown, intricately stitched with fringe that danced around her. Her silver jewelry added a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

While both couples received widespread acclaim for their fashion choices, fans on social media expressed strong support for Russell and Ciara.

One fan commented, “Russell and Ciara nailed it!! They look dapper!” Another remarked, “Best of the lot, the Wilsons, the Wades, and the Jonases.”

Despite the fan-favorite status of the Wilsons, Jalen and Bry‘s appearance was equally captivating, showcasing the diverse styles and personalities of NFL couples at one of fashion’s most prestigious events.

Texas’ Steve Sarkisian defends Quinn Ewers’ NFL Draft decision: ‘He gave everything he could to our program’

Getty Images Quinn Ewers' decision to forgo his final season of college football and enter the 2025 NFL Draft drew some skepticism from those who felt he should have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian had some pointed remarks for those very critics during an appearance on "Josh Pate's College Football Show."Following the 2024 season, in which Ewers led Texas to the College Football Playoff Semifinal, he had a few choices.
