Worum geht es: Mitten im Jubel um den von Hakan Calhanoglu verwandelten Elfmeter zum zwischenzeitlichen 2:0 (45.) gibt es plötzlich eine Rudelbildung. Acerbi kriegt sich vor Wut gar nicht mehr ein, stürmt auf Schiri Szymon Marciniak und beschwert sich massiv.
In den TV-Bildern wird nicht deutlich, warum der Italiener so auf der Palme ist. Auf Social Media dagegen kursiert ein Clip, das zeigen soll, wie Martínez nach Acerbi spuckt.
Acerbi läuft nach dem Tor an Martínez vorbei, jubelt dort offenbar provokant. Der Spanier reagiert – so zeigt es das Video – mit Spucken. Danach kommt es zu Rangelei. Schlimmeres wird nur verhindert, weil Acerbi vom Spanier getrennt wird.
Die italienische Sportzeitung „Gazzetta dello Sport“ schreibt daher: „Inigo Martínez bespuckt Acerbi nach Inter-Doppelpack: Beinahe-Schlägerei nach Elfmeter.“

Der Verteidiger stapft danach wutentbrannt in der Kabine.
Sollte der Italiener wirklich angespuckt worden sein, hätte der Barça-Verteidiger Rot sehen müssen.
Acerbi revanchierte sich dafür mit einem Tor. In der Nachspielzeit schießt er das 3:3, bereitet somit den Weg für die Verlängerung. Dort schießt Inter noch ein Tor und steht nun im Finale der Champions League.
