Caio Ribeiro acredita que o momento pede um técnico estrangeiro para a seleção brasileira. Apesar de tudo, para o escolhido ser Carlo Ancelotti, o ex-atacante apostaria em Abel Ferreira, do Palmeiras.
Em entrevista ao “Ticaracaticast”, no YouTube, o comentarista esportivo teceu muitos elogios ao comandante do Verdão. Outro profissional que o agrada é Jürgen Klopp, ex-Liverpool e que hoje atua como Chefe de Futebol Global do Grupo Red Bull.
“Eu acho que a gente poderia quebrar um paradigma e ir com um estrangeiro. Falam muito no Ancelotti e que o Jesus seria o plano B. Agora estão falando do Abel, técnico do Palmeiras, que para mim é o melhor que a gente tem”, afirmou Caio Ribeiro.
“Tem um nome que não está se falando e eu levaria em consideração, é o Klopp.” Depois do Guardiola, ele é o melhor. Um cara desse tamanho você precisa fazer pelo menos um convite”, acrescentou.
Casagrande tem a mesma análise de Caio Ribeiro.
Walter Casagrande também é um entusiasta de Abel Ferreira na seleção brasileira. Além do currículo inquestionável, Casão considera importante o tempo que o português está no Brasil e como está habituado à nossa cultura futebolística.
“Eu tentaria o Abel Ferreira, que é o melhor treinador que trabalha no Brasil. Ednaldo, esquece o Ancelotti porque está sendo humilhante para nós!”, disse Casagrande na legenda do post.
“Falta um ano para a Copa do Mundo, o Abel é o melhor treinador que trabalha no Brasil, ganhou tudo em quatro anos, conhece todos os jogadores que jogam aqui e acompanha o futebol mundial. Eu não pensaria duas vezes em fazer uma proposta para ele ser o treinador depois do Mundial”, avaliou.
A seleção brasileira encara o Equador, dia 5 de junho, pelas Eliminatórias.

Segundo a imprensa internacional, o Real Madrid vai anunciar a rescisão de Carlo Ancelotti após o jogo contra o Barcelona, domingo, pelo Campeonato Espanhol. Independente de qual seja o resultado, o clube espanhol já teria definido a saída do italiano.
Xabi Alonso, do Bayer Leverkusen, é o favorito para assumir os merengues.
