Mnohdy to bylo od Norů skutečně na hraně. Obránce Kundrátek to odnesl zraněním. „Pár faulů nebylo odpískaných na obě strany. Myslím, že víc na té naší, kde byly od Norů na hraně bodyčeky. S tím se nedá nic dělat. Musíme se soustředit na náš výsledek. Celý tým Norska hrál fyzicky, asi to byl jejich plán,“popisoval Pastrňák. „Byli bychom radši, kdybychom měli větší klid na konci zápasu a nemuseli se strachovat o výsledek. Ale tady v dnešní době není jednoduchý soupeř, dneska to Norové ukázali. Karlos (Vejmelka) nás podržel, zbytek jsme pohlídali týmově.“
Pastrňák je oddaný fanoušek fotbalového Baníku. Ještě před hokejovým zápasem stihl sledovat první poločas Ostravy proti Plzni, později byl nadšený z výhry 2:1. Teď má Baník stejně bodů jako Plzeň a sahá po předkole Ligy mistrů. „Velká gratulace, důležité tři body. A Liga mistrů? Ještě zbývají dva zápasy, ale máme to dobře rozjeté.“

88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
