Der Trainerwechsel bei Real Madrid – Xabi Alonso (43) wird Carlo Ancelotti (65) an der Seitenlinie ablösen. Der Spanier, der aktuell noch bei Bayer Leverkusen unter Vertrag steht, soll bereits zur Klub-WM übernehmen.

Ancelotti dagegen wird dann bereits als Nationaltrainer Brasiliens übernommen haben! Das gab der brasilianische Verband am Montag offiziell bekannt.

Zuvor hatte bereits das Portal „The Athletic“ berichtet, dass Ancelotti einen entsprechenden Vertrag unterzeichnet hat. In nur zwei Wochen soll er seinen neuen Posten antreten.

Die spanische „Marca“ hatte bereits berichtet, dass Alonso bei den Königlichen einen Vertrag bis 2028 unterschreibt.

[–>Ancelotti stand seit Juli 2021 als Real-Trainer an der Seitenlinie, holte mit den Königlichen seitdem 3 Champions-League-Titel (2014, 2022 und 2024).

Brasilien ist für den Ex-Bayern-Coach (von 2016 bis 2017 in München) der erste Job als Nationaltrainer. Von 1992 bis 1995 war er schon Co-Trainer von Italien-Nationaltrainer Arrigo Sacchi gewesen.
