Jezdce poté čeká tradiční finiš na Champs-Elysées, který Tour uzavírá od roku 1975, jedinou výjimkou byl loňský konec v Nice. Poslední etapa je z velké části výhradně slavnostní záležitostí a závodí se jen v závěrečném spurtu.
