Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift has elevated him to a new level of celebrity.

Since the couple began dating back in 2023, their relationship is never far from the limelight. Whether it be paparazzi chasing them down while on dates, or speculation over if and when they might tie the knot, the two are never far away from the headlines.

Given Kelce spends much of his time away from football with Swift, it is no surprise that he doesn’t have as much free time for other people. Case in point, Nick Wright, as Kelce has become friends with the FS1 analyst over the years.

The three-time Super Bowl winner found time to give a shout-out to Wright during a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, even suggesting he could be a guest in the future.

“F***ing love Nick Wright,” Travis said when brother Jason noted that Wright would be willing to appear on the podcast.

How did Wright respond?

It didn’t take long for Wright to respond, responding to the invitation and more.

“My guy, Trav,” Wright said. “What a delight. So, here’s the thing, Trav and I have not talked-talked since he’s been serious with Taylor Swift. Since he’s become like a super celebrity.”

“So, here’s the thing, I don’t wanna bother him during the [NFL] year. And then last offseason, he was traveling the world with Taylor.

“And then at the parade last year, we were going to, I think, get together, after the parade, or during it, but there was obviously the tragedy of shooting at the parade. So, everything got askew. So, I haven’t talked to Trav in a while. So, appreciate the shoutout on one of the world’s most popular podcast.”

Time will tell if Wright appears on the New Heights podcast in the near future, but what is certain is that Kelce will return to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 13th season in 2025.

Kelce was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, and has since made the Pro Bowl 10 times while setting several franchise records as a tight end.

Packers WR Christian Watson returns to practice for first time since ACL injury in January

Getty Images The Green Bay Packers are close to returning one of their key offensive weapons. He now has 21 days to be activated from the reserve/physically unable to perform list to the 53-man roster.Watson suffered the torn ACL vs. the Chicago Bears on Jan. 5, so he's just nine months removed from the injury. The fact that he feels good enough to practice is certainly a step in the right direction.  The former No. 34 overall pick out of North Dakota State signed a new contract while sidelined; the Packers gave him a one-year, $13.25 million deal last month. In 2024, Watson caught 29 passes for a career-high 620 yards and two touchdowns, while averaging a whopping 21.4 yards per reception.Watson […]

Kyler Murray laments Cardinals’ mistakes in stunning loss to Titans: ‘How to Lose a Game 101’

The Arizona Cardinals seemingly pulled a loss out of thin air on Sunday when they blew a 21-3 lead, fell on the wrong side of two astonishing plays and ultimately lost to the Tennessee Titans in a 22-21 stunner. Quarterback Kyler Murray said that game "might be No. 1" in terms of how frustrated he has ever felt after a loss. Considering the meltdown it took to squander a three-possession lead, his displeasure was warranted. Heartbreaking losses have become the norm for the Cardinals, who in Week 5 became the first team in NFL history to lose three consecutive games on walk-off field goals. "I don't really know what to think about that," Murray said. "I don't even know. I really don't even know. That's 'How to Lose a Game 101.' I don't know. That was crazy." The misfortunes began […]

Dak Prescott Playing Like an MVP While Carrying the Depleted Cowboys

<!--> [--> Ralph Vacchiano NFL Reporter <!--> --> EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Meadowlands had all but emptied out by the time the Dallas Cowboys were done with the New York Jets on Sunday, but a loud group waited around to send a message to their hero. And as Dak Prescott left the field and headed toward the locker room, he smiled when he heard what they were chanting:"M-V-P!""I mean, my ears work, so I heard it," the Cowboys quarterback said. "But I didn’t hear it. It’s Week 5."It may only be five weeks into the NFL season, but it’s OK for him to listen, at least for a moment. Because those fans are right. Nearly one third of the way through the season, Prescott is the MVP of the league. Dak Prescott heads off the field Sunday after another […]

Why Amen Thompson is in prime position to turn into the player Ben Simmons could have become

When news broke that Fred VanVleet tore his ACL during a summer workout, which will likely cost him the entire 2025-26 season, two names immediately came to mind for Rockets fans. The first was Reed Sheppard, the 2024 No. 3 overall pick who didn't do much as a rookie but suddenly finds himself in position to potentially play a vital role on a possible championship contender. The second was Amen Thompson, who, unlike Sheppard, has already declared himself one of the league's most unique weapons and fastest rising stars entering his third season. Barring a trade for an established point guard, both Sheppard and Thompson are going to get their chance to run the show. What Sheppard does with this opportunity will be interesting, but what Thompson does with it will be fascinating. It feels like it could be the start to […]
