Im Rennen um die TV-Rechte der Handball-WM 2027 bis 2031 setzte sich der Streamingdienst Dyn und ProSiebenSat1 gegen ARD und ZDF durch (SPORT BILD berichtete).

Ex-DHB-Vize und Füchse-Boss Bob Hanning (57) freut das sehr. Vor dem Spiel des VfL Potsdam gegen Rekordmeister THW Kiel am Sonntag (15 Uhr kostenlos bei Welt.TV und bei Dyn/Anzeige) in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga ätzt er auf Instagram gegen die Öffentlich-Rechtlichen.
Hanning: „Die Anbiederung, sich für wenig Geld an die Öffentlich-Rechtlichen verkaufen zu müssen, ist endgültig vorbei. Dyn überträgt die WM 2027, 2029 und 2031. Das ist eine großartige Nachricht für den gesamten Handball. Das wird uns voranbringen und ganz neue Zielgruppen für unseren Sport erschließen.“
Hanning ätzt gegen ARD und ZDF
In der Halbzeitpause beim Spiel am Donnerstag-Abend, Füchse Berlin gegen Eisenach (34:26), legte Hanning noch einmal nach, sagt am Dyn-Mikrofon: „Der Bundesliga-Wechsel zu Dyn vor zwei Jahren ist die beste Entscheidung gewesen, die wir für den Handball treffen konnten. Die Öffentlich-Rechtlichen haben es in der Vergangenheit ein Stück weit solide gemacht. Aber es war nichts für die Entwicklung, einen Platz zu kriegen, der der Sportart gerecht wird.“

Hanning, seit März auch Nationaltrainer von Italien, einmal in Fahrt, freut sich weiter, sagt bei Dyn: „Jetzt haben wir so vielfältige Möglichkeiten: Wir haben das Home of Handball auf der einen Seite. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit, neue Zielgruppen zu erschließen durch Privatfernsehen und auch mal Gesichter besser zu präsentieren. Der Sport lebt über Namen und das weiß das Private, wie man das macht. Ich glaube auch, dass es für ProSieben, für Sat1 auch wichtig sein wird, zehn, zwölf Millionen Zuschauer an die Bildschirme zu kriegen. Und das ist eben mit Handball möglich.“
[–>Und er ergänzt: „Wir haben jetzt viel zu feiern, dieser Tag ist ein Meilenstein für den Sport. Wir haben jetzt eine Medienmacht, die deutlich größer ist, weil es deutlich mehr gewünscht ist. Es geht ja immer darum, da hinzugehen, wo man uns wirklich haben will.“
