Die Scuderia blamiert sich beim Heimrennen in der Nähe von Bologna. Charles Leclerc (27) und Lewis Hamilton scheiden beide bereits im zweiten Abschnitt des Zeitfahrens aus. Während der Monegasse Elfter wird, reicht es beim siebenmaligen Weltmeister nur für Rang zwölf. Viel zu wenig für die eigenen Ansprüche!
