Das peinliche 25:22 beim Tabellenletzten VfL Potsdam am Sonntag sorgte bei Kiels Kreisläufer Patrick Wiencek (36) für eine Frust-Explosion (SPORT BILD berichtete).
Mitten im Spiel geht „Bam-Bam“ (Spitzname von Wiencek) seinem Kollegen Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu (22) an den Kragen und staucht den Spielmacher mal so richtig zusammen.

Ihren Wutausbruch erklärt die Kiel-Legende, die nach dieser Saison aufhört, gegenüber SPORT BILD so: „Das haben wir in der Situation alle mal gebraucht, so ein Wachrütteln. Bei so einem schlechten Spiel ist es auch mal nötig sich gegenseitig anzukacken, dann wird’s danach besser.“
Das war passiert: Beim Stand von 7:7 (20.) knöpft sich Wieneck Skipagøtu vor, weil der trotz freier Bahn nicht zum Tor zieht, nachdem die Kreisläufer-Kante einen Block für ihn gestellt hat, sondern einen unnötigen Pass nach Außen spielt. Wiencek stapft dem Färinger stinksauer hinterher, haut ihm gegen die Brust, schreit ihn an: „Ich drück ihn weg und du bleibst stehen!“

Der Frust nach diesem Leblos-Auftritt sitzt bei allen tief. Eigentlich wollten sich die Kieler auf das Wochenende einstimmen, sich nach dem DHB-Pott die nächste Trophäe sichern, beim European-League-Final4 in Hamburg. Doch so wird das nichts.
Emil Madsen (24) sauer: „Das war die schlechteste Leistung der Saison. Wir sind der THW Kiel und dürfen so einen schlechten Handball nicht spielen. Ich habe keine Erklärung.“

Jicha ehrlich: „Die Erklärung, warum wir so schlecht waren, ist eine menschliche. Wir sind nicht alle ans Leistungslimit gegangen und haben vielleicht gedacht, es wird leichter. Alles können wir nicht auf uns schieben und wie schlecht wir waren, denn man muss auch voller Respekt sagen, Potsdam hat das überragend gemacht.“
