Für Toni Kroos (35) beginnt neun Monate nach seinem Karriereende ein neuer Berufsalltag. Neben seiner Fußball-Academy in Spanien und seinem Hallen-Spektakel „Icon League“ steigt er bei der Berater-Agentur Sports360 ein, die ihn während seiner Spielerkarriere begleitet hat. Kroos hat sich in das Unternehmen eingekauft, wird dort aber viel mehr als ein stiller Anteilseigner.
Der mit 34 Titeln erfolgreichste deutsche Fußballer aller Zeiten – unter anderem Weltmeister 2014 und sechs Champions-League-Siege mit dem FC Bayern und Real Madrid – wird in der Agentur zum Top-Star-Entwickler. Kroos arbeitet ab sofort gezielt mit Profis wie Nationalspieler Angelo Stiller (23) vom VfB Stuttgart und Spitzen-Talenten wie Tom Bischof (19), der im Juli von Hoffenheim nach München geht.
„Ich werde dem einen oder anderen Spieler auf seinem sportlichen Weg mit Ratschlägen zur Seite stehen und meine Erfahrungen weitergeben“, sagt der ehemalige Weltklasse-Mittelfeldspieler. Was lapidar klingt, ist ein konkretes Aufgabenfeld an der Seite der Berater Volker Struth (59) und Sascha Breese (45).
[–>Kroos hat in seiner Karriere auf dem Weg nach ganz oben alles erlebt. Den frühen Umzug im Alter von 16 Jahren von Rostock nach München. Die Leihe als Jungprofi vom FC Bayern nach Leverkusen (2009 – 2010) wo Trainer Bruno Labbadia (59) zu Beginn nicht auf ihn setzte. In die Akquise von neuen Spielern sowie die Vertragsverhandlungen der Klienten soll Kroos nicht involviert sein. Der Lebensmittelpunkt des Ex-Stars, der 114 Länderspiele für Deutschland bestritten und nach der Heim-EM im vergangenen Sommer die Karriere beendet hat, wird Madrid bleiben.
