Ronaldinho Gaúcho, em discurso envolvendo Vinícius Júnior, enalteceu o status do atacante. Questionado sobre o fato do camisa 7 não ser unanimidade na Espanha, o ex-jogador preferiu dar ênfase ao carinho visto no Brasil. Diante dos feitos em campo, houve uma sinalização de que o craque do Real Madrid é um dos ídolos do futebol nacional e foi injustiçado na Bola de Ouro.
“Para ser sincero, eu nem sabia (risos). Ele é um dos maiores ídolos do Brasil, e seus compatriotas sempre desejam o melhor para ele.”, disse Ronaldinho Gaúcho, em entrevista ao jornal Marca.
“Sim, porque ele venceu as competições mais importantes por anos, até marcou gols decisivos em finais da Liga dos Campeões. Eu acho que ele merecia.”, acrescentou.

“Eu sinto falta de tudo, porque passei a vida fazendo a mesma coisa, especialmente da atmosfera no vestiário. Estou feliz agora em jogar esses jogos com velhos amigos, vestindo a camisa de um clube com o qual vivi tantas coisas, tantas histórias maravilhosas.”, contou.
