Cicinho sinaliza clube que corre risco de quebrar no Brasil: “À beira da falência”

Cicinho vê o Corinthians atravessando um estágio alarmante. Apesar do número elevado de receitas, o Timão segue acumulando dívidas, motivo pelo qual o eventual processo de falência foi abordado pelo ex-jogador. Neste cenário, como o São Paulo também vive problemas financeiros, o ídolo do Tricolor destacou que a ausência de prestígio, capaz de arruinar a reputação do clube, é algo mais preocupante.

“Hoje, nós vemos o Corinthians, o maior time em questões de marketing e arrecadação, à beira da falência. Todo mundo olha a falência financeira, mas a minha preocupação com o São Paulo é a falência moral.”, disse Cicinho, ao podcast do canal Arquibancada Tricolor.

“Nós temos um nome. Isso que me preocupa. Se está devendo, corre atrás de patrocínios e investir na base. Mas a questão é moral. Os atletas não estão mais querendo ir.”, acrescentou.

Clubes em ascensão

Cada vez mais organizados, Bahia, Ceará e Fortaleza são vistos por Cicinho como exemplos no Brasileirão. Embora o São Paulo tenha uma grandeza superior, o comentarista avalia que os jogadores estão dando preferência aos clubes que possuem organização e pagamentos em dia.

“Os jogadores optam em ir para o Fortaleza, Ceará e Bahia ao invés do São Paulo. Eles sabem da desorganização. Pergunta se querem sair do Bahia ou do Fortaleza. Tem profissionalismo, pagam em dia e tem organização.”, afirmou.

Escolha de Cicinho

No passado, Cicinho poderia recusar o São Paulo para ganhar um salário maior em outro clube. Porém, diante do prestígio dentro e fora de campo, o ex-lateral não teve dúvidas em adiar o cenário de atuar na Europa para se juntar ao Tricolor.

“A questão da má administração levou o São Paulo ao ponto de dívidas cada vez mais crescendo. Uma das coisas que me trouxe ao São Paulo foi que sempre passava imagem de um clube organizado. Quando eu vim para o São Paulo, eu tinha uma proposta de R$ 40 mil do São Paulo, uma proposta de R$ 80 mil do São Caetano, uma proposta do Santos de R$ 85 mil e uma proposta do Goiás de R$ 120 mil.”

“Eu tive uma proposta de 4,5 milhões de dólares do CSKA. Meus pais falaram para assinar com o São Paulo, que era meu sonho de infância. Eu assinei com o São Paulo porque era o clube referência no tratamento com os atletas e referência administrativa.”, contou.
