A Arena Barueri está vetada para jogos. O estádio, recentemente usado pelo Palmeiras para jogos do Brasileirão Série A, foi interditado nesta quarta-feira (21) por decisão da Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF), para jogos de competições realizadas pela entidade.
- Motivos da decisão
Segundo informação do Lance!, a decisão da FPF de veto aos jogos no estádio seria motivada por ‘falta de reformas’ no local. Esta afirma que há ainda melhorias a serem feitas, como a cabine onde ficam os responsáveis pelo VAR, além de citar uma ‘impossibilidade’ que o estádio possa receber público.
Tal interdição ocorre de forma imediata e impede que partidas do time feminino do Verdão e da categorias de base, que usarão a Arena como casa para competições regidas pela entidade, poderão ter que procurar outros locais para que possam atuar, caso a interdição do estádio não seja revertida.
A decisão, no entanto, não deverá afetar, ao menos por enquanto, jogos realizados por outras entidades como a CBF. O Palmeiras jogou os clássicos contra Corinthians e São Paulo, pelo Brasileirão, na Arena Barueri, ambos com presença de público em suas arquibancadas.
Represália?
Para os palmeirenses, segundo o jornal, a decisão da FPF de vetar partidas no estádio, é vista como uma represália da entidade ao clube. E que teria a ver com as eleições da CBF, por conta do Palmeiras não ter apoiado a candidatura do presidente da entidade, Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, à presidência da confederação.
A Arena Barueri é administrada pela Crefipar, empresa ligada à presidente palmeirense, Leila Pereira. A empresa chegou a fazer uma série de reformas no local para adequá-lo às necessidades do time de jogar ali quando não há possibilidade de se usar o Allianz Parque, com todo o processo custando algo perto de R$ 50 milhões
O Verdão tentará ir à Justiça para reverter a interdição, com a possibilidade de levar o caso até o STJD se necessário. Um pronunciamento oficial de Leila poderá vir quando acontecer a eleição à presidência, neste domingo (25).
