Zweites Training für den Großen Preis von Monaco – und ein Fahrer schafft es tatsächlich, sein Auto gleich zweimal gegen die Wand zu setzen!
Schon nach sieben Minuten verliert Racing-Bull-Pilot Isack Hadjar (20) das erste Mal die Kontrolle über sein Auto, schlägt mit dem linken Hinterreifen gegen die Mauer.
[–>Folge: Der Reifen ist komplett hinüber, die Aufhängung ist verbogen. Mit kaputtem Auto schleicht der Franzose zurück an die Box. Seine „Höchstgeschwindigkeit“ dabei: 38 Stundenkilometer.
In der Garage kümmern sich die Techniker um den „VCARB 02“ (wie der Bolide offiziell heißt), machen ihn wieder fit. Wenige Minuten später ist Hadjar wieder auf der Strecke.
Und knallt ein zweites Mal mit dem Hinterrad an die Mauer. Wieder ist der Reifen kaputt. Hadjar funkt frustriert und auch leicht verzweifelt an seine Box: „Mann, ich bin so blöd. Ich denke, ich bin einfach doof.“
Verstappen kriegt den Rückwärtsgang nicht rein
Am Ende der zweiten Trainings-Einheit liegt er dennoch auf Platz 6. Schnellste Runde: Charles Leclerc (27). Der Ferrari-Pilot aus Monaco (und letztjährige Sieger bei seinem Heim-Grand-Prix) ist 0,038 Sekunden schneller als der WM-Führende Oscar Piastri (24/McLaren).
Auch der Australier hatte seinen Wagen während des Trainings an die Wand gesetzt. BBC-Reporterin Rosanna Tennant berichtet, dass nach dem Aufprall kleine Trümmer-Teile in die Ferrari-Garage geflogen sind.

Weltmeister Max Verstappen (27/Red Bull) kommt in Kurve 5 von der Strecke ab und versucht, zurückzusetzen. Klappt nicht! Der Holländer funkt an seine Box, dass er Probleme mit dem Rückwärtsgang hat. Einige Augenblicke später kriegt er ihn doch rein und fährt weiter.
Am Ende landet der Titelverteidiger auf Platz 10 – 0,713 Sekunden hinter Leclerc.
