Com 22 pontos, o time comandado por Abel Ferreira tem quatro de vantagem para o Rubro-Negro. Caso consiga um resultado positivo neste final de semana, a distância sobe para sete. Na sequência, o rival será o Cruzeiro, em Belo Horizonte, que também desponta como um dos candidatos ao título.

“Nesse domingo, pega o vice-líder Flamengo em casa e, no outro domingo, vai até o Mineirão encarar o Cruzeiro, que nesse momento é o terceiro e tem chances de dar uma disparada e ficar muito bem na foto”, escreveu Casagrande, em coluna publicada no UOL.

Segundo Casão, o Palmeiras tem condições de vencer seus dois grandes oponentes na briga pela taça e abrir uma diferença ainda maior na ponta.
