“Nesse domingo, pega o vice-líder Flamengo em casa e, no outro domingo, vai até o Mineirão encarar o Cruzeiro, que nesse momento é o terceiro e tem chances de dar uma disparada e ficar muito bem na foto”, escreveu Casagrande, em coluna publicada no UOL.
Segundo Casão, o Palmeiras tem condições de vencer seus dois grandes oponentes na briga pela taça e abrir uma diferença ainda maior na ponta.

Além da liderança no Brasileirão, o Palmeiras é dono da melhor campanha na fase de grupos da Libertadores e classificado para as oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Para Casão, com este elenco tão equilibrado, é possível que o Verdão entre forte nas três competições.
