In a memorable moment at the Geneva Open, Novak Djokovic achieved a monumental feat by winning his 100th ATP Tour title, solidifying his place among tennis legends.
The Serbian had to battle hard against Hubert Hurkacz, who had not lost a set during the tournament.

After losing the first set, Djokovic made a strong comeback, winning the next two in thrilling tiebreaks.
Despite only breaking his opponent’s serve once, he did so at the perfect moment to tip the balance in his favor. With that victory, Djokovic lifted the trophy in Geneva and joined an elite group of tennis players who have won 100 professional titles.

He entered an elite circle that very few have reached, becoming only the third player in men’s tennis history to reach 100 professional titles. Only Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer have surpassed that mark, joining Djokovic on a list reserved for the titans of the sport. It’s absolutely crazy!
“I’m grateful to have achieved 100 here. I had to work hard to get there, that’s for sure,”Djokovic said after the match.
The road was not easy
After an inconsistent run marked by early eliminations and ups and downs following his Olympic gold medal victory, Novak Djokovic finally broke the 100-title barrier in Geneva.
Since his triumph at the 2024 Olympics, he had only reached a couple of finals and suffered defeats in the first rounds, including at the Madrid Masters 1000 against Matteo Arnaldi.
Djokovic settled the score on his 38th birthday by beating Arnaldi in the quarterfinals of the Swiss tournament.
Now, with the pressure of the “century” behind him, Djokovic is aiming for Roland Garros as the sixth seed, determined to prove that he can dominate tennis’s biggest stages.
“Hubert was probably closer to winning than I was throughout the match. I don’t know how I broke his serve,” Djokovic said in an interview after the match.
