Flávio Prado não tem dúvidas de que Piquerez, do Palmeiras, é um dos melhores laterais do Brasil. Antes da partida contra o Flamengo, o jornalista foi questionado sobre quem levaria a melhor na disputa com Alex Sandro, titular do time carioca.
Durante o programa ‘Canelada’, o comentarista não só escolheu o jogador do Verdão como ratificou seu momento positivo na temporada.
“Acho que o Piquerez está numa fase ótima.” Vou de Piquerez”, disse Flávio Prado.
Em campo, porém, quem saiu sorrindo foi Alex Sandro. Impecável na marcação de Estêvão, o camisa 26 comemorou a vitória por 2 a 0, neste domingo, no Allianz Parque, pela 10ª rodada do Brasileirão. Com gols de Arrascaeta e Ayrton Lucas, o Rubro-Negro impediu que o rival aumentasse a vantagem na liderança.
Além disso, o Flamengo agora está um ponto atrás. O revés palmeirense motivou também o Cruzeiro, que venceu mais uma e pode, na próxima rodada, ultrapassar o Verdão.
Craque Neto ‘repete’ análise de Flávio Prado
Assim como Flávio Prado, Craque Neto também é um admirador do futebol apresentado por Piquerez. Além da sua eficiência na frente e também na defesa, o apresentador da Band destaca sua alma e coração deixados nos 90 minutos.
“Lateral-esquerdo bom, nos times grandes, só tem um: Piquerez. Só ele que é lateral-esquerdo bom, lateral-esquerdo que fecha”, opinou.
No Palmeiras desde 2021, Piquerez foi contratado com o desafio de substituir Matías Viña, uruguaio que fez história com a camisa alviverde. O camisa 22 tem vínculo até o final da temporada.
