Embalado na disputa das Eliminatórias, o Equador não terá casa cheia para o duelo decisivo frente ao Brasil nesta quinta-feira (05), pela 15ª rodada do torneio que vale disputa por vagas na próxima Copa do Mundo. No duelo em que marca a estreia de Carlo Ancelotti no comando da seleção brasileira, a La Tri não terá capacidade máxima no Monumental de Guayaquil, por conta de punição aplicada pela Conmebol, em decorrência de cantos homofóbicos, protagonizados em jogo anterior da competição.
No duelo contra a Venezuela, ocorrido na Data Fifa de março, torcedores foram flagrados no Estádio Casa Blanca, em Quito, proferindo gritos discriminatórios, com cânticos homofóbicos para o adversário. Como o caso já era reincidente, a Conmebol fez valer o regulamento, aplicando uma multa financeira e também determinando o fechamento de 25% do setor de mandante para o próximo jogo do escrete nas Eliminatórias em casa.
Neste cenário, o estádio que é casa do Barcelona de Guayaquil poderá receber 44 mil torcedores nos 59 mil assentos disponíveis como capacidade máxima. O palco, inclusive, não é casa habitual da seleção equatoriana nas Eliminatórias. Mas para evitar um público menor, em meio à boa fase do escrete, a Federação optou por transferir o duelo para um estádio com capacidade maior, objetivando que a punição fosse menos sentida.
Para o duelo contra o Equador, o Brasil pode ter ao menos quatro novidades no time. Em seu segundo dia de treinamento, o técnico Carlo Ancelotti sinalizou uma seleção com Estêvão no comando ofensivo, além das presenças de Alexsandro, Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães e Gerson. O italiano chegou a dar um ‘despiste’ na imprensa. Após indica uma formação aos jornalistas, que puderam acompanhar os primeiros minutos da movimentação, ele alterou o esquema na sequência do trabalho com portões fechados.
No treino tático restrito, Ancelotti aromou o time em um esquema de 4-3-3, com uma espécie de triângulo invertido no meio. Sem a posse de bola, há uma mudança para o 4-4-2.
O time que treinou como titular teve: Alisson, Vanderson, Marquinhos, Alexsandro e Alex Sandro; Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães e Gerson; Estêvão, Richarlison e Vini Jr.
O que Brasil precisa fazer para se classificar à Copa?
Figurando na 4ª posição, com 21 pontos, a seleção brasileira pode liquidar a vaga na próxima edição da Copa do Mundo nesta Data Fifa de junho, mas não depende apenas das próprias forças para o objetivo ser concretizado. Para isso, o escrete comandado por Carlo Ancelotti precisa superar Equador e Paraguai, nos dias 5 e 10, e ainda torcer para a Venezuela não acumular 100% de aproveitamento nos jogos contra Bolívia e Uruguai.
Até o momento, apenas a Argentina tem o passaporte confirmado, com quatro rodadas de antecedência. Os atuais campeões do mundo consolidaram o objetivo em março, antes mesmo de entrar em campo e atropelar a seleção brasileira, à época comandada por Dorival Júnior, que acabou sendo desligado dias depois do revés acachapante. O escrete de Lionel Messi e companhia deve ter a companhia de outros escretes classificados nesta janela de jogos. Além do Brasil, Equador, Uruguai e Paraguai estão no pleito.
