Beim 90:61-Sieg in Spiel 2 im Halbfinale gegen die MLP Academics Heidelberg geht Harris nach acht Minuten im ersten Viertel zu Boden. Ohne Fremdeinwirkung verdrehte er sich das linke Knie.

Im ausverkauften SNP Dome in Heidelberg (4410 Zuschauer) wird es mucksmäuschenstill. Ganz vorsichtig versucht Harris aufzustehen, das Bein kann er nicht belasten. Am Ende sind es die Weltmeister Niels Giffey und Johannes Voigtmann, die ihren Teamkollegen vom Platz tragen.

Weltmeister Voigtmann: „Wenn sich ein Mitspieler so schwer verletzt, geht das nicht spurlos an einem vorbei. Wir verbringen so viel Zeit zusammen, das löst ganz viele Gefühle aus. Das will keiner sehen. Das sah schlimm aus.“
