Under his leadership, the US fell to Panama and Canada in the Concacaf Nations League, which has weakened support for the coach and raised questions about his leadership.
Former figure and coach Bruce Arena criticized his appointment, arguing that “it should be an American” in charge and accusing him of being unaware of the local soccer culture.
According to reports, Levy is considering activating a clause to release Pochettino from his contract with the US national team, which is worth at least $20m, and offering him a solid project at Tottenham.
While the fans are pushing for Levy to bring back the “Tottenham style” coach, Harry Redknapp himself backed him, the club is not ruling out other options such as Thomas Frank or Marco Silva
Pochettino’s contract and commitments at stake
