Last month, Christen Harper Goff revealed a jaw-dropping detail about her 2024 photoshoot that no one saw coming. The 31-year-old model and wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff was 18 weeks pregnant when she posed for the iconic magazine and not a single person knew it.
“I actually shot Sports Illustrated this year [when] I was 18 weeks pregnant,” Harper shared on the Sunday Sports Club podcast in May. Her statement sparked immediate praise across social media for her ability to keep such a big moment private while looking flawless in front of the camera.

Harper‘s secret-keeping skills only amplified admiration for the power couple, who tied the knot last June after meeting on the exclusive dating app Raya and getting engaged in 2022.
An elegant backyard baby shower
Now well into her third trimester, Harper is embracing pregnancy in the most radiant way possible. She and Jared recently hosted an intimate backyard baby shower at her parents’ home that felt like something straight off Pinterest.
With pastel-pink table settings, floral centerpieces, and desserts almost too perfect to eat, the celebration was peak understated luxury.
“The most beautiful day celebrating baby G with all of our friends! What a lucky girl,” Harper captioned her Instagram post documenting the day.
Dressed in a flowing floral maxi dress with a tasteful side slit, she glowed alongside her casually dressed husband, who rocked a gray hoodie and jeans. Jared didn’t miss the chance to remind everyone of his admiration, commenting simply, “pretty mama.”
Harper‘s Sports Illustrated shoot was still making headlines when the couple threw their baby shower. With baby G’s arrival just weeks away, fans are watching the Goffs juggle celebrity, parenthood, and pro sports with inspiring grace.
