Prestes a entrar no período de transferências, o Grêmio é um dos clubes que trará novidades aos seus torcedores. A expectativa é de anunciar contratações antes das disputas dos playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana e da sequência do Brasileirão. A partir do dia 10 de julho, novos atletas podem ser inscritos visando o segundo semestre.
Além do meio-campista Alex Santana, que já está integrado ao elenco, o Imortal esteve perto de concluir a contratação do volante Caíque, do Juventude. O atleta seria envolvido em uma espécie de troca, onde os gremistas emprestariam ao time da Serra o lateral-direito João Lucas e o lateral-esquerdo Luan Cândido.

Porém, após as tratativas estarem bem encaminhadas, a direção do Grêmio deu um passo atrás e deve desistir da negociação. Nas redes sociais, torcedores gremistas avaliam o movimento como positivo. Alguns acreditam que Caíque não tinha nível para ser reforço tricolor, enquanto outros comentaram sobre a grave lesão que o atleta teve.
“O cara pode vir sem custos no fim da temporada, além disso está voltando de uma lesão grave, esse negócio no atual momento não teria lógica alguma”, disse um torcedor gremista na rede social X, o antigo Twitter. “A torcida salva sempre, o cara não ruim mas o modelo de negócio é bizarro”, escreveu outro.
Um dos motivos que pode ter feito o negócio cair foi a repercussão da torcida, que protestou nas redes sociais. “A torcida do Grêmio salvando a incompetência da diretoria, mais uma vez”, opinou mais um internauta. “Viram a repercussão negativa e voltaram atrás, ou seja, não tem convicção”, apontou outro.
Mano Menezes quer zagueiros e falou publicamente
Recentemente, o técnico Mano Menezes admitiu a necessidade da contratação de um zagueiro que atue, predominantemente, pelo lado direito do campo. Adryelson, ex-jogador do Botafogo, é um dos nomes que estaria na mira.
“Nós queremos trazer um zagueiro que jogue dos dois lados, com característica predominantemente destra. Para que fique mais equilibrado. A gente tem usado um sistema um pouquinho diferente para jogar. E isso deu a condição de fazer dessa maneira (com dois canhotos). Mas daqui a pouco vamos ter variações, e é bom que se tenha um jogador com essa característica. A gente vai trazer, sim”, disse o técnico.

Richard Sherman charged with DUI: Ex-Seahawks star, Super Bowl champion hit with second such charge since 2021
Getty Images Former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman has been charged with driving under the influence following his arrest in King County back in 2024, according to the Seattle Times. Blood-test results from the State Patrol crime lab showed Sherman had a blood-alcohol level of approximately 0.11 the night of his arrest, which is above the legal limit of 0.08. Sherman was arrested following a traffic stop around 2 a.m. on Feb. 24, 2024. A Washington State Patrol officer noted Sherman's car was "bouncing back and forth within the lane it was traveling in." The five-time All-Pro cornerback refused a Breathalyzer, but did agree to some voluntary tests. Sherman showed signs of impairment during those voluntary tests, and he was arrested.
