O Fortaleza é o primeiro time brasileiro a estrear na edição 2025 da Copa Libertadores. Nesta terça (1), o Leão enfrenta o Racing, atual vencedor da Copa Sul-Americana e da Recopa Sul-Americana. O confronto está marcado para ocorrer a partir das 21h30 (horário de Brasília), no estádio Arena Castelão.
O treinador Juan Pablo Vojvoda está com o time titular praticamente definido. A principal dúvida é referente a David Luiz.
O experiente zagueiro de 37 anos já venceu o principal torneio entre clubes do futebol sul-americano e é uma das lideranças do clube. Ele está cotado para ser titular.
Se realmente jogar, David Luiz teoricamente ocupa a vaga de Tinga, e o Fortaleza é escalado com três zagueiros. Caso contrário, Vojvoda deve repetir a formação tática que conduziu o time nordestino à vitória sobre o Fluminense.
Nesse sentido, o provável Fortaleza contra o Racing tem os seguintes jogadores: João Ricardo; Tinga (David Luiz), Titi, Kuscevic e Diogo Barbosa; Pol Fernández, Lucas Sasha, Emmanuel Martínez, Yago Pikachu e Marinho; Lucero.
Fortaleza tem reforço de peso no ataque
Deyverson é outra contratação anunciada pelo clube. O atacante fez o gol decisivo, na final da Libertadores 2021 entre Palmeiras e Flamengo.
“É um atleta que dispensa apresentações e conhecido no Brasil inteiro. Foi extremamente bem no Palmeiras. Foi também fundamental no Cuiabá. Chegou no Atlético-MG fazendo gols importantíssimos em jogos grandes, no ano passado”, destacou o CEO Marcelo Paz.
“Tem características interessantes. É um nove que protege bem a bola, tem ótima bola aérea, tanto defensiva quanto ofensiva. Aquela raspada que, em muitas fezes num tito de meta, vai para o centroavante dar sequência ao ataque”, completou.

O Fortaleza está no grupo E do torneio. Tem Racing, Colo-Colo e Bucaramanga como adversários.
