Ronaldo acredita que será questão de tempo para Pedro, do Flamengo, retornar à seleção brasileira. Convidado do programa “Galvão e Amigos” nesta segunda (31), na Band, ele foi questionado sobre quem pode ser o camisa 9 do time na Copa, e sinalizou que o centroavante rubro-negro é forte candidato.
Em processo final de recuperação, após grave problema quando estava à serviço da seleção, Pedro tem projeção de retorno aos gramados neste mês de abril, e na avaliação do pentacampeão, vai retomar o seu lugar na equipe, justamente por ter técnica refinada, e qualidade rara no futebol de hoje.
“Eu gosto do Pedro, é um grande centroavante, com presença de área, protege bem a bola, chuta bem com as duas. O Pedro, com certeza, vai ter oportunidade voltando da lesão”, iniciou Ronaldo, classificando, no entanto, que essa não é a principal preocupação do Brasil no momento.
“Mas eu acho que esse não é o principal problema. Temos situações na frente de conjunto mesmo. Pelos últimos jogos que eu vi, está faltando coragem, atitude no jogo. É um grande desafio com a seleção é se reconectar o povo com a amarelinha, e isso melhor tudo”, complementou o ex-jogador.
Ronaldo indica técnicos para seleção
Ao ser questionado por Galvão Bueno sobre qual treinador se encaixaria melhor ao cenário atual da seleção brasileira, Ronaldo foi contundente ao elencar quatro profissionais, distribuindo em classes prioritárias, entre eles um brasileiro foi colocado na lista.
O Fenômeno classificou Pep Guardiola como o nome ideal por toda a bagagem construída no futebol, e posteriormente citou Jorge Jesus e Abel Ferreira como opções imediatas, caso o espanhol declinasse do convite. Por fim, ele colocou Renato Gaúcho como a quarta alternativa mais indicada para o cargo.

Amargando um momento de instabilidade na disputa das Eliminatórias, a seleção brasileira volta a campo em junho, para medir forças contra Equador, fora de casa, e Paraguai, sob seus domínios, com palco ainda a ser definido. A convocação deve sair na segunda metade de maio.
Com 21 tentos somados, o escrete canarinho tem chances de carimbar a vaga na próxima Copa do Mundo nesta penúltima Data Fifa. Restam apenas quatro compromissos para o desfecho da competição.
