Arch Manning, who is set to start the season as the Texas Longhorns, starting quarterback, was spotted enjoying a barbecue alongside his teammate and wide receiver Ryan Wingo.
During the first youth camp Wingo organized at his former high school in St. Louis, Manning showed he was there for more than just football. According to reports, Wingo invited him in advance and Manning accepted immediately, highlighting the strong bond between the two.
But they weren’t the only guests. Colin Simmons, Aaron Butler, and DeAndre Moore Jr., also teammates, joined Wingo’s initiative to inspire young athletes.

A viral video showed the players at a community barbecue on Greer Avenue, where Wingo grew up. In the footage, Manning appears relaxed and enjoying the atmosphere, despite being clearly outside his usual environment.
What caught the most attention online was his appearance: wearing a zipped-up hoodie in the middle of summer and being the only white guy at the event. This sparked a wave of comments, ranging from jokes to messages of respect for his willingness to engage with the community.
“Arch is good in any hood,” wrote a Texas fan, praising how well the player fit in. While opinions were mixed, many users appreciated the gesture, and above all, Wingo’s work within his community.
