The rivalry between the Padres and the Dodgers seems to have reached its peak, after last Thursday night’s clashes, which ended with several confrontations.
It all started when Fernando Tatis Jr. was hit on the hand, which caused both teams to square off in a tense on-field exchange. This happened during the final inning of the Padres’5-3 victory, and there was concern for the physical condition of the Dominican outfielder.

After this hit, Tatis was seen with a look of pain on his face, causing concern for the entire team, including Manny Machado, the San Diego third baseman, who did not hide his annoyance after the incident and sent a blunt warning to the Dodgers.

Tension increased minutes later, when Padres relieverRobert Suarez hit Shohei Ohtani with a pitch in the back. Ohtani chose not to react to the situation and even called for calm from his teammates, which avoided a major conflict, while Suarez was ejected by the umpires for the aggression.
