Der Transfer-Poker um Ousmane Diomande läuft heiß – jetzt ist auch Real Madrid mit im Spiel! Der Innenverteidiger von Sporting Lissabon zählt zu den begehrtesten Abwehrtalenten Europas, und das Rennen um den 21-jährigen Ivorer entwickelt sich zum internationalen Bieterkampf.
Wie das Portal „Teamtalk“ berichtet, hat Reals neuer Trainer Xabi Alonso (43) ein Auge auf Diomande geworfen. Der Coach schätzt besonders dessen Zweikampfstärke und Spielintelligenz. Für Alonso, der mit Real gerade bei der Klub-WM weilt, wäre der Youngster ein wichtiger Baustein für Reals Abwehr der Zukunft.
Doch die Königlichen sind nicht allein: Newcastle United beobachtet Diomande bereits seit Monaten intensiv. Coach Eddie Howe hält große Stücke auf ihn – intern wird er als Schlüsselspieler für die Champions-League-Ambitionen der „Magpies“ gehandelt. Ein erstes Angebot soll sogar schon kurz bevorstehen.
Auch Chelsea ist weiter im Rennen. Coach Enzo Maresca hat Diomande ganz oben auf seiner Wunschliste für die Defensive platziert. Die „Blues“ prüfen aktuell, wie sich die Ausstiegsklausel von 80 Millionen Euro eventuell durch leistungsbezogene Boni drücken lässt.

Diomandes Profil ist beeindruckend: Mit über 100 Pflichtspielen für Sporting, zwei Meistertiteln sowie Einsätzen in Champions League und Europa League bringt der 21-Jährige trotz seines Alters schon reichlich Erfahrung mit – und noch jede Menge Potenzial.
