Doch aufgrund des schlechteren Torverhältnisses ist die Fifa-Klub-WM für die Spanier vorzeitig beendet. Aus in der Gruppenphase: viel zu wenig für das stolze Atlético! Botafogo darf sich über das Weiterkommen in der Gruppe B freuen, damit hat wohl niemand gerechnet.
