A Red Bull Racing (RBR) escalou Arvid Lindblad para o Grande Prêmio de Silverstone. O competidor vai substituir Yuki Tsunoda, pilotar ao lado de Max Verstappen e participar da primeira sessão de treino livre (TL1). O evento está marcado para ocorrer nesta sexta-feira (4), a partir das 8h30 (horário de Brasília).
“Estou muito animado para pilotar em uma sessão oficial de Fórmula 1. Será um momento especial. É algo que sonho há muito tempo. Ter uma chance na categoria com a Red Bull depois de quase cinco anos na academia de pilotos é realmente especial, uma oportunidade incrível. Agradeço a todos por isso”, declarou.
Quem é Arvid Lindblad?
O britânico de 17 anos é atualmente um dos integrantes da Fórmula 2. Ele tem 79 pontos e ocupa a 6ª posição do principal torneio de base do automobilismo mundial. Lindblad também disputou a Fórmula 3 e a edição italiana da Fórmula 4. O automobilista somou dez vitórias e 15 pódios em tais campeonatos.
“Estrear na Fórmula 1 como piloto britânico numa pista britânica diante de uma multidão britânica será realmente incrível. Meu objetivo é ganhar velocidade no carro, obter dados precisos para Tsunoda, liderar a equipe na direção certa e ser veloz. Mal posso esperar para entrar na pista e correr”, finalizou.
Calendário do GP de Silverstone, próxima etapa da Fórmula 1
A prova será disputada nos dias 4, 5 e 6 de julho. O calendário é dividido em três sessões de treino livre (TL), a rodada classificatória e a corrida. O TL1 será nesta sexta (4), às 8h30, sucedido pelo TL2 que está marcado para ocorrer a partir das 12h do mesmo dia.
O TL3 está previsto para sábado (5), às 7h30, a classificação será às 11h do mesmo dia e a corrida do GP de Silverstone será no domingo (6), às 11h. Todos os eventos estão conforme o horário de Brasília.
