Olivia Dunne isn’t new to the spotlight-in fact, she practically invented her own. From going viral on TikTok to dominating NCAA gymnastics headlines, she’s always known how to make a scene-on or off the mat. But now, as she shifts her focus away from gymnastics, Dunne’s star power is shining in an entirely new arena: the baseball diamond. Or more precisely, from the stands at her boyfriend Paul Skenes’ games.
Since wrapping up her college gymnastics career at LSU, Livvy has unofficially relocated to Pittsburgh, home of Skenes and the Pirates. Baseball has clearly become part of her new rhythm, and she’s fully stepped into her role as one of MLB’s most visible WAGs. Whether it’s the outfits, the Instagram stories, or her loud cheers, Dunne brings full force to the stadium-but not everyone’s loving it.
Not your typical ballpark energy
At a recent game, Livvy took her usual seat to support Skenes, but things got a little extra. She wasn’t just clapping or giving polite applause-she was in it. From jumping out of her seat on strikes to passionately reacting to every call, Dunne’s energy practically echoed louder than the announcer.
Some fans around her weren’t exactly thrilled, exchanging looks that suggested Livvy’s enthusiasm might be better suited for the dugout-or a TikTok livestream. Still, for Dunne, showing up means showing out. And she’s clearly not here to play it safe.
From LSU legacy to MLB’s front row
Now outside the gym, Livvy seems to be building her next chapter intentionally-one where she’s not just a former athlete, but a full-on sports personality. Some are comparing her to the likes of Brittany Mahomes or even Taylor Swift in the NFL stands, embracing the role of high-profile partner in sports culture.
The spotlight has shifted, and she’s adapting with flair, even if the transition from gymnast to baseball’s most talked-about girlfriend hasn’t come without some friction. Whether this is all part of a bigger plan or just Livvy being Livvy, she has no plans to become a background character.
