Christopher Nkunkus (27) Zeit beim FC Chelsea verläuft bislang enttäuschend – und könnte im Sommer bereits enden.

Neben Bayern München, die bereits im Austausch mit Nkunkus Berater Pini Zahavi (82) stehen, bringt sich nun auch Inter Mailand in Stellung. Laut dem italienischen Sportjournalisten Gianluca Di Marzio denkt der Traditionsklub über eine Verpflichtung des 27-Jährigen nach und will den Bayern dazwischen grätschen.
Hintergrund: Inter will unter dem neuen Trainer Cristian Chivu (44) den Angriff nach einer enttäuschenden Saison neu aufstellen. Nkunku, der zwischen 2019 und 2023 bei RB Leipzig für Furore sorgte, gilt trotz seiner jüngsten Formschwäche als Wunschkandidat.
Doch Inter ist eben nicht allein, denn auch Bayern ist an Nkunku interessiert – nicht zuletzt wegen der Verletzung von Jamal Musiala (22). Bereits im Januar wurde der Franzose mit dem Rekordmeister in Verbindung gebracht. Nun könnte es zum heißen Transfer-Duell zwischen Bayern und Inter Mailand kommen.
Nkunku war im Sommer 2023 für rund 60 Millionen Euro von Leipzig an die Stamford Bridge gewechselt. Seine erste Saison bei den „Blues“ verlief jedoch schleppend: Nur neun Startelfeinsätze in der Premier League, lediglich drei Tore. Trainer Enzo Maresca (45) setzt zwar zuletzt häufiger auf ihn – unter anderem bei der Klub-WM, wo Nkunku in fünf von sechs Spielen zum Einsatz kam –, doch die Zeichen stehen dennoch auf Abschied.
Auch Manchester United soll laut der Daily Mirror Interesse zeigen. Die Red Devils sollen bereit sein, rund 48 Millionen Euro für den variablen Angreifer auf den Tisch zu legen.
Und auch Trainer Hansi Flick (60) und der FC Barcelona waren an Nkunku interessiert. Chelsea wollte ein Tauschgeschäft mit Fermin Lopez (22), doch Barça lehnte ab. Deswegen ist Nkunku noch auf dem Markt.

Bei Chelsea mehren sich zudem die Anzeichen für einen Umbruch in der Offensive: Die Verpflichtungen von Liam Delap (22) und Joao Pedro (23) lassen vermuten, dass Nkunku keine zentrale Rolle mehr in den Planungen spielt.
