La pelea se desencadenó a 8:36 del final de la primera mitad. Stewart había recibido una falta técnica momentos antes al golpear con fuerza a DiVincenzo. Luego, Holland recibió una falta por quitarle el balón de las manos a Reid cerca de la línea de fondo.
