A volta ao Brasileirão representou um choque de realidade para a torcida do Grêmio, que viu o time ser dominado pelo Cruzeiro do início ao fim do jogo deste domingo no Mineirão. No final, o placar de 4×1, com três gols do inspirado Kaio Jorge, mostrou que o técnico Mano Menezes ainda vai ter muito trabalho pela frente para dar equilíbrio e regularidade para o seu time.
Nas redes sociais, alguns torcedores já até mencionaram o provável novo presidente do clube, Marcelo Marques, para que comece a antecipar alguns investimentos no time visando uma eventual classificação à Libertadores ainda na sua gestão. Ele, que negociou diretamente a compra da Arena, é o grande favorito para comandar o Grêmio de 2026 a 2028.
“Oi, Marcelo Marques. Tudo bem? Não é querer botar pilha, mas se tu quiser pegar o clube na Libertadores, bem que podia botar mais uns 100 ou 200 milhõezinhos pra contratar uns 3 ou 9 reforços ainda em 2025, né? Fica a reflexão”, escreveu o torcedores Lucas Von no Twitter.
“Já que sabemos quem comandará o Grêmio a partir de 2026, por que esperar? Que tal a atual gestão unir forças com Marcelo Marques desde já, promover uma transição longa e bem planejada, e antecipar os reforços que podem transformar o rumo do clube já nesta temporada?”, publicou outro torcedor gremista, preocupado com o time.
O que Marques pensa sobre o futebol do Grêmio?
Em várias entrevistas já realizadas nas últimas semanas, Marcelo Marques declarou que, para o primeiro ano, irá realizar um aporte financeiro de investimento no futebol projetando cerca de cinco a seis contratações em nível de titularidade. Alguns nomes inclusive já começam a ser colocados como do seu interesse, caso do volante Arthur e do atacante Everton Cebolinha.
Marques, inicialmente, planeja manter o técnico Mano Menezes por gostar do seu estilo de jogo e da forma como arma as equipes. Por outro lado, o vice-presidente de futebol vai ser Antônio Dutra Jr, ex-dirigente do clube no ano de 2016 e atual conselheiro.
Grêmio tenta reagir na quarta
Depois da pesada derrota sofrida para o Cruzeiro fora de casa, o Grêmio nem volta ao RS e vai direto para o Peru, onde encara o Alianza Lima, quarta, 21h30, pela ida dos playoffs da Sul-Americana. Em coletiva, o técnico Mano Menezes já adiantou que vai mudar o time titular:
“Nós vamos dar uma organizada um pouquinho diferente para aquilo que a gente vai fazer na quarta-feira. Vamos saber escolher bem e ter uma postura diferente de equipe, que saiba enfrentar esse grau de dificuldade, de ambiente, de intensidade de jogo, de volume”, prometeu Mano.
