Für Eman Kospo (18) scheint der Traum von einer großen Karriere beim FC Barcelona ausgeträumt – zumindest vorläufig.
Wie die spanische Zeitung „Sport“ berichtet, steht der Schweizer Junioren-Nationalspieler bei Barça vor dem Abschied. Der spanische Meister und Pokalsieger sei sich mit Serie-A-Klub AC Florenz grundsätzlich über einen Transfer des Innenverteidigers einig.
Laut des Berichts kassiert Barça eine halbe Million Euro Ablöse für Kospo, dessen Vertrag bei den Katalanen noch bis 2026 läuft. Zudem sichert sich Barcelona eine Weiterverkaufsbeteiligung in Höhe von 15 bis 20 Prozent.
Sportlich ist es ein großer Verlust für Barça. „Sport“ beschreibt den bevorstehenden Abgang von Kospo zum italienischen Tabellensechsten der vergangenen Saison sogar als „Bombe in der Jugendabteilung“.
[–>Der junge Schweizer mit bosnischer Abstammung, der 2023 ablösefrei von den Grasshoppers Zürich zu Barça gewechselt war, gilt als Riesen-Talent. In der vergangenen Spielzeit war er maßgeblich an den Erfolgen von Barcelonas U19 beteiligt, die unter Trainer Juliano Belletti (49) mit dem Gewinn der spanischen Meisterschaft, der Copa del Rey und der Uefa Youth League eine historische Saison hinlegte.
Profi-Coach Hansi Flick (60) hält große Stücke auf Kospo und ließ ihn, ebenso wie schon sein Vorgänger Xavi (45), zeitweise bei der ersten Mannschaft trainieren. Zur aktuellen Saisonvorbereitung berief er den Youngster aber nicht ein.
Laut „Sport“ war Kospo nicht bereit, in der kommenden Spielzeit nur in Barças zweiter Mannschaft zu kicken, in die er aufgerückt wäre. Dort hätte er es extrem schwer, sich für höhere Aufgaben zu empfehlen, denn das Team ist in der abgelaufenen Saison in die vierte spanische Liga abgestiegen. Keine gute Bühne, um seine Qualitäten unter Beweis zu stellen.
Das Angebot der Fiorentina hingegen sichert Kospo nach Informationen von „Sportitalia“ einen Platz in der ersten Mannschaft. Klar, dass er es dort versuchen will.
