Grandiózní, megalomanská, luxusní. To je jen pár přívlastků, které se v souvislosti s oslavou plnoletosti extrémně talentovaného záložníka objevily. Yamal pozval hosty na soukromé panství v obci Olivella nedaleko Barcelony.
Tématem byly podle tamních médií italské gansterky, což potvrzují i snímky, které sám Yamal později umístil na instagram. Mezi více než 250 hosty byli i někteří spoluhráči (Robert Lewandowski, Gavi nebo Raphinha). Přesně o půlnoci měl oslavenec na znamení plnoletosti sfouknout svíčky.
Hosté na akci nesměli natáčet videa ani pořizovat fotky, ale později se na sociálních sítích objevila videa lidí s trpasličím vzrůstem, kteří dorazili na večírek. Na základě toho španělská organizace ADEE, hájící práva lidí s achondroplázií (poruchy růstu kostí), vydala kritické prohlášení.
„Je zločinné najmout osoby s dwarfismem jako zábavnou atrakci na soukromé oslavě,“ uvedla prezidentka sdružení Carolina Puenteová. Zároveň pohrozila právními kroky. Proto ministerstvo sociálních práv chce, aby došlo k prošetření. Ve Španělsku totiž platí zákon o zdravotně postižených z roku 2022, který zakazuje show, jež zesměšňuje lidi s postižením.
K celému incidentu se pro katalánské rádio RAC1 vyjádřil jeden ze čtyř najatých liliputů, kteří na akci vystupovali. „Nechápu, proč je okolo takový humbuk. My jsme normální lidé, již legální cestou dělají, co chtějí. Pracujeme jako animátoři, máme své hranice a rozhodně nejsme pouťové opice. My tančíme, rozdáváme panáky, kouzlíme atd. Bylo to klasické představení, které trvalo asi tak hodinu, všichni se dobře bavili.“
Zároveň podotkl, že právě ADEE svým prohlášením „ponižuje lidi s trpasličím vzrůstem“. „Už nám škodí pár let. Proč bychom nemohli dělat to, co děláme? Kvůli tomu, jak vypadáme? Mají novou prezidentku, která se cítí zakomplexovaná a nás ostatní chce oškubat. Celý tento povyk vznikl jen proto, že se vše odehrálo na párty Laminea Yamala.“
