High expectations surround Bill Belichick’s college debut
While not everyone may agree, that the Tar heels are going to be high contenders, due to experience of Bill Belichick that undeniable, is one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. His deep knowledge of the game and unmatched discipline has earned him legendary status.
Now, he’s taking on a new challenge at the college level, leading a UNC team that isn’t currently among the elite, but one he hopes to transform. Football insider Mike Tannenbaum expressed strong belief that Belichick will provide a major boost to the Tar Heels, calling him one of the most valuable additions for the upcoming season.
In the ESPN show “get Up” Tannenbaum expresses his prediction for the upcoming season, “Coach Belichick, the guy I know, loves to coach football and develop young players, and I think he will exceed expectations, certainly in year one. I see it because of the schedule I think it’s still maybe a seventh or eighth win.” Said Tannebaum.

He also expresses that there are some rivals that the team under the direction of Belichick should win, “There’s a lot of winnable games here. Maybe they stick into the ACC championship game. The fact that the bar is so low, for the first time in his career, I think it’s actually easy for him to exceed expectations.”
In addition, it has become clear that Bill Belichick has been actively analyzing the rivals he will face in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He is particularly focused on the strategies of Coach Dabo Swinney, fully aware of Swinney’s capabilities and the strong potential Clemson brings to the field.
