Now, the players of the 2026 class are ready to experiment that same feeling next season, and within those players seeking the first pick of the draft is Arch Manning.

Arch Manning, the Future No. 1 Overall Pick of NFL Draft 2026
The fight for being selected as number 1 pick for the NFL Draft is a big competition as all the players will try to make their best to demonstrate their skills. The NCAA I Division counts great players that are willing to be considered as the first pick. Apart from Manning other names has arisen like LaNorris Sellers, Cade Klubnik or Drew Allar.
Athlon Sports recently released an early projection for the 2026 NFL Draft, placing Arch Manning at the top of the list as the potential No. 1 overall pick. Now entering his final college season, Manning hopes to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and uncles, NFL legends, as he prepares to carve out his own legacy at the professional level.
Athlon Sports also projected the New Orleans Saints as a potential landing spot for Arch Manning, mirroring the path of his grandfather, Archie Manning, who made history with the Louisiana-based franchise. For now, Arch will need to continue developing his skills and proving his talent to maintain his status as the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Who Rounds Out the Top 5 Behind Arch Manning?
Projected to go second overall is LaNorris Sellers, the standout quarterback from the South Carolina Gamecocks. According to the mock draft, his potential NFL destination in 2026 could be the Cleveland Browns.
Drew Allar from Penn State is projected to be the third overall pick. The promising passer from the Pennsylvania program is linked to the New York Jets, who could gain a physically gifted and highly talented quarterback.
The first player non-quarterback in the list is Peter Woods, projected to enter to New York Giants. The Defensive line from Clemenson Tigers has showed strength and leadership. If he join the Giants he will be side by side with Dexter Lawrence conforming one of the most dominant interiors of the NFL.
The edge rusher from the Clemson Tigers, T.J. Parker, rounds out the top five. He’s ranked ahead of a top-end safety prospect and is projected to land with the Tennessee Titans, where he’ll have the opportunity to showcase his speed and power.
