Com a iminente saída de Alexander Isak, o Newcastle começa a se movimentar para encontrar um substituto. Segundo o jornal Daily Mail, da Inglaterra, o time inglês fez uma consulta informal por Rodrigo Muniz, atacante revelado pelo Flamengo e que pertence ao Fulham, mas ainda não formalizou uma proposta.
Neste primeiro momento não houve negociações pelo jogador brasileiro. Mas, ainda conforme o portal, o Newcastle cogita pagar uma taxa de 40 milhões de libras (cerca de R$ 295 milhões, na cotação atual) por Rodrigo Muniz.
Enquanto isso, o Newcastle continua buscando acordos com Benjamin Sesko, do RB Leipzig, e Yoane Wissa, do Brentford. No entanto, o sentimento dentro do clube é de que o atacante esloveno provavelmente irá para o Manchester United.
