Der deutsche Rekordnationalspieler (150 Länderspiele) bei „Sky“: „Ich würde mir wünschen, dass Talente wie Wanner oder Karl auch in den ersten Bundesligaspielen gegen Leipzig, in Augsburg und gegen den HSV ihre Einsatzzeiten bekommen würden.“

Als Beispiel führt Matthäus Frans Krätzig (22) an, der zunächst ausgeliehen wurde und in diesem Sommer zu Red Bull Salzburg wechselte.
Neben Krätzig verließ auch João Palhinha (30) den FC Bayern. Der Wunschspieler von Ex-Coach Thomas Tuchel konnte sich unter Trainer Vincent Kompany nicht durchsetzen, mit einer Leihgebühr in einer Höhe von bis zu sieben Mio. Euro ging es für ihn zurück nach England zu Tottenham. Matthäus dazu: „Wenn man auf die Geschichte des Transfers zurückblickt, war er unterm Strich unnötig und überflüssig.“

Palhinha ist weg, dafür kam Luis Díaz (28). Matthäus: „Diaz ist ein guter Spieler, aber er war nicht die erste Wahl auf dieser Position. Man hat auch Absagen bekommen, das darf Eberl (Sportvorstand; d.Red.) nicht vergessen.“
Und: „Zurücklehnen kann man sich in seinem Job sowieso nicht. Es gibt noch Dinge, die man gerne machen möchte. Sowohl auf der einen als auch auf der anderen Seite. Soweit ich informiert bin, will man noch den einen oder anderen Spieler verkaufen – um vielleicht dann auch das Angebot für Nick Woltemade nachzubessern.“ Zuletzt boten die Münchner rund 55 Mio. Euro für den Stuttgarter Stürmer.

Tato mezera se měří sférickým měřidlem,“ stojí v technických regulích. „Během technické kontroly bylo zjištěno, že zadní křídla nejsou v souladu s předpisy,“ uvedli stevardi po kontrole Williamsů.„Pro nás je to velké zklamání a nyní vyšetřujeme, jak k této chybě došlo. V žádném případě jsme neusilovali o výkonnostní výhodu. Zadní křídla našimi kontrolami prošla, ale rozhodující je pouze jedno měření a výsledek od FIA plně akceptujeme,“ uvedl šéf stáje James Vowles.Dvojitá diskvalifikace Williamsu přišla poté, co v minulém závodě v Ázerbájdžánu ze stejných důvodů ředitelství závodu vyloučilo z kvalifikace Estebana Ocona na Haasu.
