Após a vitória do Santos por 3 a 1 contra o Juventude, nesta segunda-feira (4), Neymar concedeu uma entrevista que gerou debate na mídia esportiva. Ao ser informado por um repórter que um olheiro da seleção brasileira estava o acompanhando, o camisa 10 falou que “tem nada a provar” no futebol.
“Eu não preciso provar nada para ninguém. Meu futebol todo mundo conhece. Estou à disposição, sou um atleta, estou me sentindo muito bem. Só depende deles”, afirmou ele ao SporTV.
Zé Elias disse que o ex-Barcelona e PSG é o “último gênio” do futebol brasileiro, mas criticou a postura do craque: “Resposta de alguém que todos bajulam, passam a mão na cabeça e ele está acostumado com esse tipo de situação. Ali era para ele fazer a propaganda dele: ‘Estou me sentindo bem, são cinco jogos que eu não saio’”, sugeriu o comentarista.
“Neymar não tem maturidade para entender esse tipo de pergunta. Tem 33 anos. Já está na hora de entender a importância dele para fora”, completou o ex-jogador, em opinião na ESPN.
Retorno à seleção brasileira?
Em entrevista na última data Fifa, o treinador Carlo Ancelotti explicou o que pensa sobre o ídolo do Santos: “Falei com ele, é um jogador muito importante para a nossa seleção até a Copa. Tem que se preparar bem, tem tempo para fazer isso. Conversei com ele, que se prepare muito bem, pois temos a ideia de que ele seja um jogador muito importante para a seleção brasileira“, destacou.
O camisa 10 não joga na seleção desde outubro de 2023, quando se machucou gravemente em jogo contra o Uruguai, pelas Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo. Ele decidiu retornar ao Peixe neste ano e tem como um dos objetivos ganhar ritmo de jogo e estar novamente à disposição da ‘amarelinha’.
